On August 19, 2017 we did a weekend trip to hike the Minarets loop, which starts from Agnew Meadow and ends at Devils Postpile. It is not an exact loop because we need to use shuttle to connect two trailheads. The trail was extremely beautiful after Ediza Lake. At the time we hiked the bridge at Ediza Lake was broken. So we had to go to west side of the lake to continue. After Ediza Lake, there were some class 2 spots till Minaret Lake. A good sunrise spot at Minaret Lake is on the hill to the east of the lake.
