Seward highway along Turnagain Arm is the most famous drive in Anchorage area. This is a heaven for landscape photographers. You will want to stop everywhere. Sunset is at about 11pm in July. My suggestion is to drive from Anchorage to south at around 9pm. This will ensure that the sea is at your right side so that you can pull out to take photos.
